Hi, My name is Robyn and this is my story...
It used to take a lot of persuasion to get me to even step foot inside a gym. I used to hate the process of being fit and healthy.
My entire life has been filled with extremes. From being a competitive athlete with 5 am practices to being a party girl out 5 nights a week, to being a stress-out, over-trained and underfed fitness coach, to being the heaviest I’ve ever been.
For 10+ years I was falling off and on the wagon, gaining weight, losing it, gaining muscle, and losing it again.
I just wanted to be consistent. And I wanted to enjoy the process of being fit and healthy.

BUT TO GET THERE, IT WASN'T EASY...

My first plan was to give myself a break from being an athlete - I wanted “balance and flexibility” from a strict regime. I ended up down a path of alcohol, drugs, and fast food.

To “get back on track” I found CrossFit - worked out 7 days a week, ate extremely strict, and was the leanest I’ve ever been. Also the most exhausted and burnt out I’ve ever been.

My anxiety attacks got so bad from pushing myself all the time... I needed another attempt at finding balance. In an effort to fix my relationship with food, I gained 35 lbs.

HEALTHY
The first few months working with your coach will be focused on three things: non-negotiable habits (sleep, stress management, steps, hydration and nutrient intake), your mindset, and your relationship with food.
This phase is all about building the strongest foundation possible
HAPPY
In this 12-16 week phase, we’ll take you through a cut (calorie deficit) to lose body fat, a bulk (calorie surplus) to build muscle, or maintenance (calorie balance) to achieve a mix of both.
Challenge yourself with more precise tracking and workouts.
HUMAN
No one wants to track their food forever. In this phase we teach you how to guesstimate portions, rely on hunger cues, and build up your mindful and intuitive eating so you can be a social human being and live life without extremes.
We have 5 non-negotiable habits we provide all our clients. Then we have your personal non-negotiable habits we need to identify. Let’s put these together and come up with baseline minimum targets + goal targets for each.

so that your body feels safe letting go of unwanted body fat. Our clients are often surprised to learn that eating too LITTLE can actually prevent them from losing weight, because it puts their body into a constant state of stress as it tries to preserve energy.
Finding the right foods for your lifestyle and personality.
Instead of putting you on a strict meal plan, we'll work with you and what you like to eat. We’ve found that this makes our clients more likely to stay consistent and follow the plans we set for their nutrition and training with less effort.
Eating a balance of proper macronutients.
We want you to lose fat while preserving as much muscle mass as possible. At other times, we want you to build more muscle mass! This requires eating the right balance of protein, carbs and fats. We approach tracking in a very easy and sustainable way. And no, you won't have to track food forever!
Customizing your workout routine.

Managing the stressors in your life
The amount and quality of your sleep, how much daily movement you’re doing, and your hydration.
We make specific recommendations throughout the program for how to tweak or install better habits in these areas. All of these factors affect the way your body will feel and how or if it makes positive changes.
Incorporating the things you enjoy in life
like alcohol, restaurant meals, and social events. We monitor your progress weekly and we can give you a pretty good idea of when you can eat freely/indulge without it affecting your overall results. This helps a lot with reducing stress/anxiety/obsession around food.
